Hi, hope you’re doing well.
I set up a cloudflare several months ago on the sao-bio.fr site. We just released a redesign last Monday, for the occasion we switched to Cloudflare pro.
The problem is that before the redesign, we were generally between 50 and 70% “Percent Cached” of the site. Since then, we are between 15 and 50% “Percent Cached”.
(24 hours)
I can’t share you more than one screenshot because i’m a new user of cloudflare community, but I think it’s important to know that Russian Federation in the last 6 days had 356k requests, to compare, France (our only market) is 192k ! Do i’am attacked by Russian bots or anything else ? What should I do…
The problem is that I have some pages that load very quickly and others that don’t.
I’m SEO, not webhost or webdev so I’m wondering if I configured something wrong.
Overall, I have activated all the features offered by Cloudflare.
Regarding the cache:
- Caching level “Standard”.
- Brower Cache TTL 4 hours
- Crawler Hints Enable
- Always Online Disabled
- Dev mode Disable
- Tiered Cache Disable
- Cache Reserve disabled
I read that Cloudflare does not cache html by default.
So I set up some rules in “Page Rules”, I learned a few days ago that it would be obsolete shortly, if you know where I should migrate them I’m interested haha.
- Cache Level: Cache Everything, Edge Cache TTL: 4 hours = https://www.sao-bio.fr/*
- Cache Level: Bypass = Dynamic urls such as the basket, customer account user tabs, backoffice admin
Do you have any ideas on what I can do to increase the caching of my site please.
If you know where I should move my rules pages I’m interested too!
THANKS !
