Pending NS update when WHOIS shows they're set?

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

WHOIS shows the nameservers are set right, they were set on 23 Dec 24 - 10 days ago. And yet, it still says pending NS update when adding even after many force updates.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Force checked nameservers many times, checked WHOIS, checked NS are all entered correctly, used a DNS lookup tool.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

Nameservers

Can you check on your Overview page which 2 nameservers Cloudflare has allocated in that account, check that those match the 2 set at the registrar as there are 2 sets that currently resolve for your domain…

Yep, they’re the same ones I’ve always had on the account and all set fine, was previously on another CF from the previous managers of the site, however it’s all been changed now. There’s 2 domains we inherited off them going to the same server we host, both same registrar same NS, and the other one works fine on CF

If you assumed those were the nameservers and set them before adding the site to Cloudflare, Cloudflare will allocate different ones (a security feature to prevent hijacking) so make sure you are using the pair of nameservers that Cloudflare is telling you to use for that specific domain.

If the nameservers are correct and the domain is still pending, can you show a screenshot of the domain overview page.

They were set about 10 days ago after adding the domain to CF and being given the NS, however after a lot of force checks on the nameservers it seems to be working now even without changing nameservers or anything with cloudflare!
