Pending nameserver update taking longer than 24 hours

What is the name of the domain?

getoptemization.com, useoptemization.com, needoptemization.com

What is the issue you’re encountering

For the pending nameserver update, it said it would take 24 hours or less to complete but it’s been almost 36 hours and it’s still pending… not sure if I need to be patient or if somethings wrong and I can’t get chat support and no one responds to my emails… basically the TLDR is I need to get my domains set on google, someone set them up through maildoso, I didn’t want that, maildoso said the only option was to transfer to Dynadot, did that, but then when I try to register on Google it’s attached to a Cloudflare account that wasn’t created before, so I think I had to transfer the nameservers and it said 24 hours or less and here we are 36 hours later… I’m not technical and am literally just trying to send emails from google, I don’t understand why and how this is so complicated

What nameservers are you instructed to use on the DNS records page?

https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns/records

I’m not entirely sure what you mean but that link took me to the same homepage…

This is how it looks in Dynadot

When you click on the link, you need to select account/domain and it will take you to the DNS records page.

On that page, it shows your assigned Cloudflare nameservers.

Well I just tried to write an entire comment with the 8 screenshots of what I see and it told me I can only post one at a time LOL

Basically I follow all the instructions and get here

Where it says it’ll be done in 24 hours but usually quicker, but it’s been way more than 24 hours… so my question is what do I do now? Just keep waiting? Something else?

I will repeat my question:

What nameservers are assigned to your account in the DNS section? You can click on DNS in the menu on left left or use the link from my previous post.

Oh, sorry…

I believe these ones?

Those two names show as inactive in your earlier DynaDot screenshot.

So how do I make this active (complete novice here with no idea what he’s doing so apologies in advance if these questions are obvious) there is no button to press to make them go from no to yes…

I assume that’s what this pending nameserver changes were going to do but they’ve been pending for way longer than the 24 hours

That’s because you have not changed the nameservers yet. Only the two nameservers shown in your Cloudflare account can be active. You may have different nameservers assigned by Cloudflare for each of your domains. You will need to ask DynaDot how to change nameservers. This may help.

Okay so I got to this point… and it’s still pending in cloudflare… now what?

Now disable the other 2 nameservers. You can only have the 2 that are mentioned in your Cloudflare account.
