Pending nameserver update over 36 hours

I’ve added a website and changed nameservers over 36 hours ago but the changes are not picked by Cloudflare still. I’ve also tried removing and adding the domain back again but its still picking up dns records from the old dns server.

Can I set CNAME records to point to cloudflare manually until the activation is completed?

Thank you!

here is the partial whois response

What is the domain name?

looks like nameserver updates have taken effect but because it’s not on cloudflare website is down now.

You appear to have an invalid DNSSEC signature. You should remove the existing entries at the registrar.

thank you! seems to be enabled from the cloudflare side. disabled now.

I’m afraid that’s not how it works. As long as DNSSEC is enabled with the wrong DS records by your registrar (GoDaddy), the DNSSEC settings in Cloudflare will have no effect.

Either disable DNSSEC in GoDaddy, or update it with the correct value provided by Cloudflare:

there’s no DS records exist in GoDaddy though

also no DNSSEC tab like in the screenshot

Have you selected a plan type for this domain yet?

hmm, according to Cloudflare DNSSEC is controlled by the domain name server.

DNSSEC creates a secure domain name system by adding cryptographic signatures to existing DNS records. These digital signatures are stored in DNS name servers alongside common record types like A, AAAA, MX, CNAME, etc.

current ns records are set to name servers and been active for over 24h but no ip address can be resolved right now

yes, it’s free account

Is the domain name spelled correctly? Are the nameservers set the pair that was assigned specifically to this zone?

yes, but not anymore. i just deleted and recreated the account and it gave me different name servers this time. trying again with new nameservers. thank you for the help.

domain got activated in a few minutes after updating nameservers to new account without dnssec.

thank you all!
