Pending Nameserver Update? Not an active zone?

Hi,

We updated our DNS name to point to Cloudflare from our registrar about a week ago, but it still says:

Pending Nameserver Update on the first page of Cloudflare. However, when we look up our DNS it has the Cloudflare nameservers correctly listed.

One other thing is it says under status: Not an active zone. Not sure if this is only saying this due to the DNS issue or vice versa?

Not sure what else to do to get the namesevers working or what is causing the issue as they seem to be set correctly.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Oh, that is not right at all, it should not take a week. I do see the correct answer from whois, dig does not return any results, and various other tools return inconsistent results. There are some ideas in this tip, https://community.Cloudflare.com/t/community-tip-fixing-pending-nameserver-update/75415. If none of the suggestions help, I suspect the how to contact support section at the end may be the piece you need. If you contact support, please share the ticket number here as I’d like to track it.

Your domain has the Client Hold status from the registry:

This status code tells your domain’s registry to not activate your domain in the DNS and as a consequence, it will not resolve. It is an uncommon status that is usually enacted during legal disputes, non-payment, or when your domain is subject to deletion.

You should contact your domain registrar about this.
