Pending nameserver update - new user

What is the name of the domain?

delphync.com

What is the error message?

Pending nameserver update

What is the issue you’re encountering

Seeing Pending nameserver update

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

dont know how to proceed.

If you just added your domain to Cloudflare, you need to go to your domain registrar to update the nameservers to the pair provided by Cloudflare.

But I see your domain delphync.com currently has the pair of Cloudflare nameservers summer.ns.cloudflare.com and piers.ns.cloudflare.com… so perhaps you got this sorted already?

But I still see the error “Pending nameserver update

Also my assigned nameservers are different than the one you pasted above

I rather see this again as mentioned by @GeorgeAppiah

dig NS delphync.com. @9.9.9.10
delphync.com. 43200	IN	NS	summer.ns.cloudflare.com.
delphync.com. 43200	IN	NS	piers.ns.cloudflare.com.

Would you share the screenshot here

This is why you’re seeing the “pending nameserver update”.

This typically happens because…

  • Either you removed and re-added the domain to your Cloudflare account (this usually gets you a different pair of nameservers)… OR

  • The domain is active in a different Cloudflare account than the one you’re currently using.

To activate and use the domain in the current Cloudflare account where you’re seeing the “pending nameserver”, go to your domain registrar (Canva/Tucows) and update the nameservers to ONLY show the pair of Cloudflare nameservers you’re seeing in your account now.

Good luck!

When I sign in to Canva, I dont see a domain.

I need a way to update the domain information in the registrar

Where did you go to purchase your domain? Certainly not at Cloudflare!

WHOIS shows TUCOWS as the Registrar. But TUCOWS has a huge reseller network, and Canva is listed as the reseller.

Whatever the case, you need to go to the site from which you purchased the domain.

Other than the publicly listed information I’ve provided above, no one here can tell you where you purchased the domain. But wherever you purchased the domain – that’s where you need to change the nameservers. And if you can’t find the domain there, open a support ticket at that site.

its a domain setup with Cloudflare in trial mode.
When I login via Tucows or Canva, I do not see this domain listed.

If that’s the issue, you got to contact them or to whom you paid the money. WHOIS record clearly shows Canva as the reseller. You may find more info here:

I never paid money directly to a registrar.
All I did was signup for Cloudflare and then for Google workspace for gmail access
