"Pending Nameserver Update" after several days, but nameservers set correctly

What is the name of the domain?

What is the error message?

Pending Nameserver Update

What is the issue you’re encountering

We have pointed the nameservers correctly it seems (screenshot below), but the domain is still pending in Cloudflare after several days. We’ve done this same process for numerous other domains (the same way), but are having issues with this particular domain name.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. Made sure DNSSEC is disabled on Namecheap.
  2. Added the two nameservers to namecheap, ensured they were spelled correctly and that no other nameservers exist on the domain name besides those two nameservers.
  3. Ensured the domain was spelled correctly within our Cloudflare account.
  4. Removed the domain from our Cloudflare account since it didn’t recognize the new nameservers (it was still pending) and re added the domain to our Cloudflare account. When we readded the domain, we were given new nameservers so we changed the nameservers on the registrar, then Cloudflare only saw the Nameservers that it was asking for originally (in #2 above) but now Cloudflare says it doesn’t see the new nameservers we just changed it to – it’s now been several days.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

You have a DNSSEC issue…

You need to either disable DNSSEC at your registrar, or enable it at Cloudflare and copy the DS records to your registrar from your dashboard here…

Very odd since as you can see from the original screenshot, DNSSEC was disabled at the registrar. The fix for this was going back and enabling DNSSEC on Cloudflare, then going back to Namecheap and putting in the record Cloudflare provided.

Thanks!!
