Kindly raise a support ticket so that we can escalate it accordingly.

Have you tried disabling and enabling Universal SSL to see if this issue goes away?

I have toggled Universal SSL several times. Will not resolve the issue.
I have raised a support ticket by emailing Support, however, the bot closes the ticket immediately because this is a free account.
Website has been down for several days.

The domain currently points straight to GoDaddy and Cloudflare is not involved.

The reason the domain points to GoDaddy – NOW – is because my site has been down for three days. I am trying to get back online, so I cut Cloudflare off.
Anyone with experience know if I can just delete the whole domain off of Cloudflare and rebuild it?
Will that work?

Your certificate won’t issue if your site doesn’t point to Cloudflare as they can’t do the cert verification. Your site currently shows a GoDaddy default page, is that what should be there?

Does anyone with experience know if I just nuke the domain on CF, and then add it again, this will fix the problem?

What is the ticket number you received?

Are you seeing a cipher mismatch error?

What setting?

Can you disable it for a hour? I see a lot of quick toggles. When you turn off ssl we go through a process of removing certificates, when you enable it we provision new certificates. Those processes take some time.

You have a setting for Full (strict) which is great, that is the best tls/ssl setting to use. Do you have a valid ssl certificate on your origin server to support this setting? Is that the setting you changed?

Fantastic input and spot-on @domjh thank you! +1 nameservers are a bit of a mess atm

I’d defer to @domjh and @AnjanaM but no, nuking is never a good idea.

Going to turn-off Universal SSL for the day and see if that fixes the issue.
As to the bot who keeps telling me to ‘raise a ticket’, emailing Support {at} Cloudflare only works for subscription accounts.

 it sent you a reply, I think it is working as expected

2499973 is your ticket number
