Hello. Today I made a domain transfer to Cloudflare. In the “Management domain” it is written that the price is 9.95, in fact, I paid 11.94. Why is there such a difference? Hidden fees?
Is there any currency exchange rate involved?
Thanks for reply. The exchange rate of the currency exists, but the write-off is indicated in $. Also, another service wrote off as indicated in its price list. Therefore, the exchange rate of the currency does not affect here.
You’d have to ask Billing about this: billing AT cloudflare DOT com
And please post the ticket # here when you get it.
p.s. Can you also click on the pencil next to the title and re-categorize this as General->Billing? @Laurie usually keeps an eye on those posts to look for issues.
Okay, I’ll try.
P.S. reclassified
And a ticket #, when you get it, so they can track it down.
OK, but a little later. And what should I specify in the mail for Billing (account data?)
You can just copy/paste your original message’s text, and let them know the domain name you transferred:
Sooner would be better since it’s already Friday lunchtime here and billing generally isn’t around on the weekend.
Hi @Cloudout,
Please check your invoice when it has generated tomorrow, as your account appears to be subject to tax.
So that would be tax for domain registration, but not for Cloudflare services and features?
Thank you for the answer Laurie, I will check it tomorrow
Yes, the domain costs do not include tax, if you are in a taxable area and domains are subject to tax then you will see the tax applied at the order and in the invoice.
