Cloudflare universal certificate pending validation
When you tested your domain using the Cloudflare Diagnostic Center, what were the results?

Describe the issue you are having:
We have a partial zone set up with CNAME records to oemautomatic.sk.cdn.cloudflare.net and www.oemautomatic.sk.cdn.cloudflare.net. In the cloudflare dns management we have one A record for each (have also tried with CNAME) pointing to origin with proxy turned on.
The universal edge certificates for the root and www are stuck on “pending validation (http)”. I have tried to disable and enable universal ssl multiple times and waiting for several hours without the status changing. After finding no solution to the problem I ended up adding an advanced certificate with txt validation just the get it working, but don’t want this to be a permanent solution. I hope it doesn’t make troubleshooting more difficult.
The strange thing is that I’ve done the exact same procedure for ~40 other domains and they all validated automatically within a couple of minutes. This is the only one that doesn’t work and aside from the tld everything seems to be set up identically to the other domains.

- Tried disabling and enabling universal ssl.
What are the steps to reproduce the error:
- Convert to partial zone dns.
- Add CNAME with partial zone suffix to the authoritative dns.
- Add CNAME or A record in cloudflare pointing to origin with proxy turned on.
- Disable universal ssl.
- Wait at least 1 minute.
- Enable universal ssl.
