Hi there. I let my domain expire for a few hours. It is now “parked free courtesy of GoDaddy” but they said there nothing they can do; I must contact Cloudflare. I’ve spent hours in the help centre and I can’t figure out what to do.
My nameservers in GoDaddy haven’t changed from the custom ones I have been using for years.
I am a novice.
What should Cloudflare do here? Your host needs to make sure your site is reachable.

I have received some conflicting feedback from the live chat. I honestly don’t know.
That’s a message coming straight from your host I am afraid and you need to clarify that with them.
What you could do for now is to pause Cloudflare (Overview screen, bottom right). At that point your domain will resolve directly to your host and they should be able to explain why they are not providing the right content.
