Pages www subdomain fails to load

Hello,

I created my static Pages website on Cloudflare. After adding my website, Cloudflare auto-added DNS entries. Visiting domain-com works. Visiting www-domain-com fails.

Note: I am a new user so I had to use domain-com instead of domain.com in this message.

I’ve tried the following without any luck:

  • Keep the default DNS settings created by Cloudflare, which are two proxied A www records with IP addresses.
  • Remove those and add a CNAME of www pointing to domain-pages-dev
  • Try recommendations on various forum and other posts. Most point to old articles are introduce redirects.

I don’t need my www-domain-com to redirect to domain.com so I’m just looking for a setup that will cause www-domain-com to load my Pages site. Any help would be much appreciated!

Did you add the www version of the name to your Pages project as a custom domain? You need to add both names.

No, I did not. Thank you for pointing that out! I added it just now and will let you know once those changes go through.
