Pages custom domain is not verifying

I have pages project with custom domain.
I added domain and cname record: ‘root => pages.dev’ and ‘www => root domain’

It is in verifying state for few days, but I can access my root domain with browser. (www domain gives error 523)
I’ve seen other people gets verified in few minutes, I wonder what’s wrong with my setup. thanks

Did you add the DNS records yourself? Since your DNS is on Cloudflare you should let them get added automatically when you add the domain to the Pages project. Don’t add CNAMEs manually for it.
