Pages app not responding!

Hi,

My pages react app stopped responding suddenly today and the last deployment was a month ago.

This site can’t be reached

15946fa3.academy-bf0.pages.dev took too long to respond.

Subdomain is directed via CName record as below:

academy CNAME academy-bf0.pages.dev. 60 41d

also the cloudflare url is not responding: academy-bf0.pages.dev

It was working for a long time and nothing has changed on my side? What could be the possible reason for this and how can i fix it? Any help is appreciated.

Can you run a few diagnostics things:

• Run: dig academy-bf0.pages.dev
• Run: traceroute academy-bf0.pages.dev (or tracert academy-bf0.pages.dev if on Windows)
• Go to https://academy-bf0.pages.dev/cdn-cgi/trace (or https://cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace if that doesn’t load)

Please send the output for all of these.

Can you also show a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

Very interesting, this IP is not a Cloudflare one. It looks like your ISP is hijacking the DNS request and that’s why it’s failing. This actually belongs to “Turk Telekomunikasyon Anonim Sirketi”

If you switch your DNS to 1.1.1.1 you will probably get around that and resolve the issue.

By hijacking do you mean that it is blocking the requested dns?

More like redirecting, they’re changing the IP returned so it never hits Cloudflare and instead goes into the void. But you could call it blocking too, the result is the same evidently.

Couldn’t tell you why they’re doing it on this domain, I can only say what is happening.

I have the same issue. I can access the Production but not the Preview urls from Turkey.

Changing the DNS to 1.1.1.1 did not solve the problem.

The Cloudflare Pages team have been made aware that there are connectivity issues when accessing pages.dev URLs from within the Republic of Türkiye (Turkey). They are working diligently to resolve this issue. In the meantime, we would recommend using a Custom Domain to access your Pages projects.
