Page Rules: Asterisk

If we just want to cache the HOME PAGE ONLY in Cloudflare Page Rules, will this URL pattern work? I want to include both the https://www.websiteurl.com & https://websiteurl.com.

*jobsfornationals.com/ (asterisk in front of the URL)

Browser Cache TTL: a day, Always Online: On, Cache Level: Cache Everything, Edge Cache TTL: a month

Hi,

Not it will not work as websiteURL.com will not match jobsfornationals.com.

But on real side yes it will work.

Documentation is your best friend

:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Yes you are absolutely right. But since this is a membership site we DONT want to cache anything else besides the home page https://jobsfornationals.com/. What rules & pattern should we use for that?

If you do not put * at the end it will only cache / and not /abcdfg

ACTIVATED:

*jobsfornationals.com/

Browser Cache TTL: a day, Always Online: On, Cache Level: Cache Everything, Edge Cache TTL: a month

Lets hope it is not theme or coding dependent and will work as it is supposed to.

I just discovered a problem with this rule.

Since we are a membership site, as soon as I login the site URL changes. But while logged in if I go back to the home page (jobsfornationals.com) I get logged out. Probably because the home page is generated from the cache. Can this be fixed or better to disable the rule to avoid any other complications?

You can disable cache and purge as well

Yes done that. Thank you.
