Page Rule Wild Card Help

Hi, I’m trying to setup a wild card so when users go to: www.blog.arturofm.com/postX are re-directed to blog.arturofm.com/postX

I tried this:
Origin: www.blog.arturofm.com/*
Then the settings are:
Foward URL (301): https://blog.arturofm.com/$1

But when I do that it fowards it to https://blog.arturofm.com/www

lol

I think the use of $1 is wrong, how can I fix it?

It works correctly for me. But read below for an issue with using www on a subdomain.
