We had a CNAME record for “info” that was directed to a Hubspot blog. We have eliminated Hubspot and need to redirect the page to our current blog page. I have deleted the CNAME for info and trying to set up a page rule redirect so that anyone going to https://info.goaptus.com/blog
gets redirected to https://www.goaptus.com/news
but it’s not working. Any idea where I am going wrong?
Since you deleted the CNAME, the subdomain info.
does not exist as far as DNS is concerned, and therefore cannot be redirected.
Go to your Cloudflare Dashboard > DNS and create either an A record for info
pointing to your origin server IP address, or a CNAME pointing to your domain, and the rule should work.
