OV SSL from third-party CA on subdomain, needs to disable Proxy to work?

Hi all,

I obtained a OV SSL cert from one of the CAs and have it installed successfully on my server. However, when I enable the Cloudflare proxy on the subdomain, Firefox and Chrome display an SSL cipher error.

How can I get it to work while proxy is enabled on the subdomain?

Subdomain is X.example.com, one level below root domain.

SSL settings: SSL Full Strict
Cloudflare Proxy on subdomain is Disabled
