Yeah, it seemed to be resolved for a day, but I’m getting the errors again:
upstream (outlook-com.olc.protection.outlook.com.) temporary error: Unknown error: transient error (451): 4.7.650 The mail server [104.30.8.6] has been temporarily rate limited due to IP reputation.
Yes still getting errors on emails sent to outlook/hotmail addresses. Switching destination to another provider e.g. Gmail then worked and emails stuck were then sent. Unsure how long emails will retry until dropped.
I’ve moved away from Cloudflare’s email service. I’ve lost all trust in in. While I understand it’s not their fault Microsoft blocking their IPs I’ve seen zero help provided. I do not know if Cloudflare are doing anything to solve the block e.g. contacting Microsoft but I can’t sit and pray it starts working with no status other than the first day. I’m rethinking using CF at home and at work as I have made my work use CF and a paying customer of their services.
Rejected reason:
upstream (outlook-com.olc.protection.outlook.com.) error: failed to initalize: Unknown error: permanent error (550): 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [104.30.8.157] weren’t sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list (S3150). You can also refer your provider to Troubleshooting. I just noticed this problem today when I repeatedly checked the bank’s OTP. I forwarded the email to gmail.com and it was received. But this makes me worried about the availability and sustainability of email forwarding. I can’t find any official explanation and solution from outlook.com or Cloudflare on this issue, which is really frustrating. Hope to solve the problem asap
Routing has worked for months, just in the last two days all my emails have been hitting this error. Do I just need to wait or is there anything I can do? Will the failed emails eventually get to me?
Almost all of the e-mails I’ve been expecting the last few days have gone unreceived. Looking at my Cloudflare dashboard, both Outlook and Gmail are blocking Cloudflare.
Like, WTF‽ Should we all be considering abandoning Cloudflare’s e-mail features ASAP?
This issue is certainly not resolved as per the linked status page. Something like 91% are undelivered according to my Cloudflare dashboard!
I’ve got the same here. Over the past 2 weeks I’ve had 1500 emails dropped over a couple of domains.
It doesn’t look like Cloudflare are working to resolve this at all.
After switching back to Cloudflare email routing from Apple Mail, emails are no longer being delivered. If I send an email from my private email from outlook I also get this in the dashboard: Upstream error from outlook-com.olc.protection.outlook.com with the message: “Unfortunately, messages from [IP] weren’t sent. Please contact your Internet service provider (swisscom for me) since part of their network is on our block list (S3150). You can also refer your provider to Troubleshooting”
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Not much as I don’t know what to try.
I removed nearly all DNS records that are not used by websites (Cloudflare pages, vercel etc.).
10 email forwards rejected in the last hour, over 200 in the last week and over 325 in the last 14 days with forwarding to hotmail address. Looks like this is going to be a forever problem…
