No emails are coming into any outlook email box as they have blocked cloudflare ips

Looks like there was an recent incident related to the Email Routing and Outlook domain :thinking:

Looks like the past 2 hours the error rates have gone down to normal.
But was still having errors about 5 hours ago after the statuspage stated it was fixed.

Just wondering if you know if all emails are queued and will always retry or if any emails get dropped after a few hours/retries?.
Obviously I can’t have missing emails otherwise I’ll have to look for another mail provider.

A transient error, e.g. connectivity issues, would make a standard-compliant sender continue to re-try the message delivery for a while, which in many configurations by default is set to 120 hours (5 days).

Error codes in the 4XX series (being 451 in your error output) are transient errors.

You may occasionally find that not all senders (and/or their implementations) are that good at following standards though.

The responsibility for re-trying the message delivery at a later time, will be with the original sender (e.g. the source that tried to deliver it to the Cloudflare Email Routing).

I am still experiencing this problem. Anything I can do?

Same, tested from a google and bounce back saying
521 5.3.0 Upstream error, please check Postmaster | Cloudflare Email Routing docs for possible reasons why.

Cloudflare email routing log says:
upstream (outlook-com.olc.protection.outlook.com.) error: failed to initalize: Unknown error: permanent error (550): 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [104.30.8.47] weren’t sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list (S3150).

This is still an issue, not great to miss that many mails

Yep same problem, today all mails to my outlook have been rejected…

Same here - not good on Cloudflare’s part and failing to acknowledge it on their status page

Anyone know if ImprovMX is more reliable? Used it back in the day but moved due to the convenience of everything in one place

This is now an issue for me, not sure how they can just block, or even rate limit, such a global platform?

Emails are not being routed to Outlook.com

I’m getting the same messages that any emails being forwarded through cloudflare are being blocked by outlook.com

I’m seeing this issue as well.

At least the 104.30.8.82, 104.30.10.96, 104.30.10.137 send mails are on the Outlook block list, and 104.30.10.140 is on the Outlook rate limit list.

Same issue here all emails and therefore all alerting stopped, error 550 as per above.

I have turned proxy on and off. It worked once.
