Anyone else experiencing problems receiving the email with the one time password stop I have tried with multiple email addresses including Gmail and are not receiving any emails. Yesterday and today. No email is sent
Tried a gmail and own email address
Got to application access and login with valid email. Nothing sent.
This was a misconfiguration on my part but it is confusing that Cloudflare still presents the user with the otp page but does not send the email. I had a require policy for one time password in conjunction with the emails option. If you just use the emails option you still get presented with the login and the email is sent. If you include the require the email is not sent. It is very confusing
This is intended behavior. I f the behavior was different for valid accounts vs. invalid ones that would be a security risk. Same reason Windows says ‘bad username or password’ and not unknown user or invalid password depending on the appropriate condition.
