What is the issue you’re encountering

I am trying to get original client information, like User-Agent data, and IP address for lighttpd

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I went to the site below, but am unsure of how to implement the solution, because it gave an example IP in the article.

I have tried using wildcards, and I have tried using 0.0.0.0 to try and get this implemented, but neither of those worked.
To get a work around, I used the “Forwarded-IP” header, but I don’t always get user-agent data to get the device, or the user-agent data is the cloudflare pool.
I have tried Chat GPT but running into walls.

You need to use Cloudflare’s IP addresses (all of them):

Cloudflare does not change the User Agent of requests.

Thank you! As I was about to send some log values, I saw they had two different values. so I took a closer look at my config, and I think I found the problem! Thank you!
