I’ve checked DNS 3 times, uninstalled and reconfigured Apache2, I’ve revoked and redownloaded the Origin certificates 3 times. Nothing seems to work if the SSL/TLS encryption mode is set to anything other than flexible I get the error. Tried Disabling Universal SSL and reenabling. Not sure what else I can do at the moment.
This indicates the problem is with your server not accepting HTTPS requests as Flexible uses only HTTP to the origin.
Pause Cloudflare or set the DNS record to “DNS only” so requests go directly to the server, then check that your server is answering on port 443 for Cloudflare IP addresses and is configured correctly for SSL. Once fixed, you can re-enable Cloudflare.
So not sure if I’m doing this correctly but I set SSL to off and the DNS proxy status to DNS only. The site cannot be reached. I’m having a little trouble understanding what the issue is when this was working perfectly more 16 hours ago
As the site is still not working and requests are going direct to your host, you will need to check with them for the problem. Leave the records at “DNS only” so your host can see. When fixed you can re-enable Cloudflare.
