Open ports

Hi, i have an application running on port 8080, but seems that this port is blocked by proxy. How can I see which ports are enables? and how can I open this port.

Thanks
Mauricio

Unless you’re on the Enterprise plan, these are the available ports:

https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/get-started/reference/network-ports/

So 8080 is only available over http, not https…

I have pro version, and im trying to access port 8080 over http. so this mean that I can’t run my app on 8080? on the link you sent says that I can use these ports.

just to clarify, can I use some of this ports on pro version?

Those are https ports.

Are you using the same port on your server as the CF proxy port (8080 over http)?

To my knowledge, the free and pro version are the same regarding ports, and you’d need the Enterprise version to have access to all ports, and to be able to redirect traffic to a different port exiting the proxy than was used to enter it.

These are the http ports:

  • 80
  • 8080
  • 8880
  • 2052
  • 2082
  • 2086
  • 2095

How are you trying to access your site, as in, are you including the port number in the URL? Also, if you are using HTTP, it would be worth checking your SSL setting to make sure you don’t have auto HTTPS rewrites.

but I want to know if they work on pro version

Thanks

Right, you were trying to use https over 8080, which will not work. The https ports you listed are available on the Pro version. Switch to one of those over https, and you should be good to go.

Great! thanks!
