Getting an error after trying to connect GitLab when generating a new project:
An unknown error occurred (Code: 8000000)
tried deleting the app in gitlab and trying again but keep getting the same error

Looks like GitLab is timing out, I’d wait a little and try again.
Pages + GitLab is a funky combo. Try this: each time you are creating a project via Pages and GitLab, click on “add account” first. That tells GitLab that you’re authorizing Pages. I know you’ve already done it. But as I said, it’s a funky combo. Try it; it works.
I only have a Connect GitLab button (guessing because I don’t have any projects/accounts yet)
Still seem to be getting the error 8000000 when trying to auth the account 
Huh. I’m sorry. I have nothing. Except check your GitLab account to ensure you’ve permitted Pages
That’d be located under user preferences => applications.
yeah it’s there too, tried revoking it and trying again and same result as well
Then I’m at a loss. I apologize. This will take someone with a higher pay grade.
Still getting this error today, is it definitely a GitLab issue?
