Webpage was deleted and I’m not paying for Cloudflare but still shows up
I know its not an issue with browser history and caches, I have emails confirming Cloudflare deleted it, and I haven’t paid for it for a year yet the website still shows up for anyone who googles it. Very frustrating when you have a new page you want people to go to but they instead find the old, outdated one!
Anyone able to help me get in contact with a customer service person? No one answers emails or phone calls here
Do you still own the domain name?
If so, just delete the nameservers from the registrar, or set to their default parking option.
Don’t still own the domain name and can’t get access to it anymore since it was through Cloudflare or whoever sold to them. If I can get someone at cloudflare to give me access to my account again it would be great
Cloudflare will not give you access to an account that you can’t sign in to for security reasons.
The domain is registered with Godaddy, not Cloudflare. Are you sure you don’t still have access a Godaddy account?
Did you delete the files from the hosting provider?
I created a GoDaddy account to get GoDaddy to believe that I was a GoDaddy customer, at which point I got tech support.
GoDaddy tech support says that they have no account and that it is Cloudflare.
Now, if you open one of the PDFs on the old page, it opens but with a bizarre URL:
Which makes it look like it is being stored on Google.
I don’t even know what this is: storage.googleapis.com
It’s just a constant circle no one knows whose site this is.

Cloudflare is only a proxy for the site.
If you don’t own the domain there’s nothing you can do through that route.

I don’t know how to go about deleting the hosting for the site
Where did you host the site?
It was on Netfirms but they sent us a note that it expired in Aug 2024
This is what they said when we cancelled it:
As you requested, we have cancelled your “educatorviolencenet”
account. As of today, all Web site files and e-mail addresses
associated with the account have been taken offline and no
further charges will be processed.

Check with them if the content has been deleted.
If it has, maybe someone has recreated the site from content on archive.org.
As you don’t own the domain, your only option may be to try to claim you own the content. You can try to file a copyright abuse report with Cloudflare which will be passed to the current host. Whether anything happens will depend on the host.

They keep saying its been deleted but obviously that’s not the case. When I go on go daddy and try to buy .net it does say its taken, is there any way I can try to buy it back from myself somehow? At this point I would pay to have this dealt with
