Odd URLs being crawled that do not exist. WAF can block it either

Via my wordfence logs I am seeing a URL being crawled on my website for a URL that does not exisit in my pages. I have also put in a WAF rule to completly block these odd urls. But does not seem to have any effect.

Could some shine some light on this for me. Is the WAF rules not blocking these odd URLs because they simply dont exisit?

I find it stange. This URL actuallty brings up my homepage mysite/x=69778345242503
