Hello, We are adding our domain to cloudflare and thus updating the nameservers in Godaddy, can you please confirm if these nameservers also need to be added to MS O365, so that email routing won’t break, or any additional steps we need to perform to ensure the email flow remains unaffected after we add cloudflare NS to godaddy.

No, they don’t.

But you need to ensure:

  1. All your existing DNS records (including those for Microsoft/Office 365) have been imported into Cloudflare DNS, and
  2. Ensure all email related DNS records are set to DNS Only and not Proxied

Oh, and DO NOT enable Cloudflare’s own Email Routing service since you have an existing, complete and far superior email service.
