NS records updated but dashboard still says 'Pending Nameserver Update'

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

I am trying to activate this domain within cloudflare. The dashboard said to add the cloudflare nameservers. But it still says Pending Nameserver Update over 4 days after the update went through

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

In Route 53 I added the NS server record. I made sure the DNSSEC is turned off. I checked the DNS Checker for theorhetorical.com and it shows the cloudflare servers.

You have added the Cloudflare nameservers as NS records to the DNS. Instead you need to remove the 4 AWS nameservers and use the 2 Cloudflare ones in their place…

Got that worked thanks! I had to go into the Domain section of Route 53 and change it there, I had been going through the Hosted zone section.
