NS host nameservers vs default CloudServer NS nameservers

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

I just purchased my domain on Cloudflare. It naturally assigned to the two main *.ns.cloudflare.com nameservers. I then went into the DNS editor to add other NS records that my webhost had me add. My question is, will this work or must the two root nameservers be my webhost’s instead of Cloudflare’s? i.e. I have two .ns.cloudflare.com but two newly added DNS editor NS records pointing to ns.mywebhost.com. Will it know to propogate nameserver resolution to my webhost or will it only regard the default, inherent Cloudflare nameservers and never resolve to my webhost? Thank you!

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Went into the DNS Zone Editor and added NS records that my webhost asked me to.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

You cannot change name servers a domain name, if it has been registered through Cloudflare Registrar.

This one.

To point the domain towards your hosting provider, you will need to obtain the relevant DNS record(s), such as AAAA, A or CNAME from them.

Once you have the DNS record(s), you will need to add/modify them accordingly, through your Cloudflare Dashboard.
