I can’t even go back to my old set up because I can’t respond to the email they send me because Cloudflare has it somewhere. I am not happy and need this fixed asap NO I am not reading and searching for an article to help me. Get me help mow.

We can’t help without your domain name.

my domain is justhomeservices (dot) net
UENI says that I need to repoint the name servers to them and I can’t.

Your DNS is set up pointing to an invalid IP address. In the Cloudflare dashboard, you have to enter the IP address for your web host for the root domain and the www name.

Your MX records are set up to use Cloudflare Email Routing, which doesn’t sound like it’s what you want, either. There are iCloud entries that should be there if you’re trying to use iCloud Custom Domains for email. Apple has instructions for this here.

The ip address for the DNS A record is pointing to an IP that it not correct, you need to edit the A record and change the value to the IP address of your origin server, that is where your site is hosted.

Cloudflare nor anyone here on the Community cannot make that change for your.

Cloudflare nor anyone here knows the value of that IP, but your hosting provider does and they will tell you that. From there, edit the DNS record you have called root; change the name to @ (which stands for the name of your domain) and change the value to the IP of your origin server.

Login and go here to do those changes, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns

Learn how to make those changes here, Editing DNS Records

Who are they?

Once you get the site working, you’ll need to add other dns records to get email working

Let us know if you run into issues along the way the Community tends to quiet down at this time on Fridays, but is very active over the weekend if you encounter any issues. And, let us know once you get the pieces in place!

I just doublechecked, you’ll also want to change the value of the record called www to the name of your domain, justhomeservices.net.

Hello again,
It says that Cloudflare is my registrar now but I can’t figure out how to change the nameservers in Cloudflare.

6.1 in the Domain Registration Agreement states that you cannot change the nameservers:

6.1 Nameservers . Registrant agrees to use Cloudflare’s nameservers. REGISTRANT ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT IT MAY NOT CHANGE THE NAMESERVERS ON THE REGISTRAR SERVICES, AND THAT IT MUST TRANSFER TO A THIRD PARTY REGISTRAR IF IT WISHES TO CHANGE NAMESERVERS.

You’ll either need to use Cloudflare’s DNS and get a list of the required records from your host, or transfer your domain elsewhere to change the nameservers.
