Not using DKIM but "your DKIM signature is not valid"

Hello,

I’m no longer using a DKIM record on my DNS. At all. However https://www.mail-tester.com/ reports:

## Your DKIM signature is not valid

DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is a method for associating a domain name to an email message, thereby allowing a person, role, or organization to claim some responsibility for the message.
The DKIM signature of your message is:

	v=1;
	a=rsa-sha256;
	c=relaxed/relaxed;
	d=mydomain.something;
	s=google;
	h=mime-version:from:date:message-id:subject:to;
	bh=CT0bFV99E1XsLIyj1DGXGIjtHrVEC/rnaCpos51QqIk=;
	b=iCFmoZHFYg+lDtYkQNWtQl+kkz9V8LiH/OnTdfB/wg0/FnvVSuuv8ziLp207sfFCjx/NGo8xJRGyxMtDeOv8uuxEl0668f9dOPYpk+UQc0T2MNNOEakhdwujrilgEcDYKeJ/MDg8CmyVEAbE/xkTSwBTMVqoSGesKgZSeR+YqjA=

What could be the issue?

You are DKIM signing your mail, but since you removed the DKIM DNS record, you have insured that your DKIM signatures are invalid.

I can’t think of a good reason not to use DKIM, but if you are certain that is what you want and want to avoid failing DKIM, you need to disable DKIM signing in your email service provider settings.
