not receiving verification email for registrant contact change on the current email

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’ve checked all folders, spam etc on the old email as well as contacted support but never hear back after a couple replies

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

domain registration > manage domain > manage button > contacts tab > edit registrant contact > prefill from default contact > confirmation email arrives for new address but does NOT arrive for old email ()
