I made dns settings (added mx and cname records) on cloudflare to set up professional e-mail in godaddy account. I can receive mail when using godaddy nameservers, but when I switch to cloudflare nameservers, I cannot receive mail and godaddy does not verify my dns settings in cloudflare.
Any email-related record should be set to DNS Only.
still godaddy does not verify my dns settings in cloudflare
Which DNS settings isn’t it verifying?
godaddy asked me to verify that I own the domain so that my professional email account is sent to the correct address. it gave me txt , cname , mx and srv records. I added these records to dns via cloudflare. godaddy can’t verify that I have the domain name, but it can verify when using godaddy’s given nameservers.
Again, make sure those records are set to DNS Only.
If you need more specific help, please post a screenshot of their instructions with your actual domain name.
I deleted the records and reinstalled and it worked. I think I mistyped something. Thanks for your help.
