Hello i was read this tutorial Email Troubleshooting
but I’m a little confused,
in my dns record MX records set for netramedia.id
and CNAME mail set to netramedia.id, i was set this CNAME mail to gray out DNS only
but unable to receive email via app
The biggest problem is the MX record is pointed to a hostname that’s set to
. Your MX record should point to mail.netramedia.id
And then your CNAME, which is set to
is pointing to a hostname that’s set to
.
It’s best if that ‘mail’ CNAME was deleted and replaced with an “A” record with your server’s IP address and set to
.
