Pointed my DNS record to ec2 instance. Configured SSL to flexible and forced HTTPS but still not forcing to HTTPS

There’s no good reason not to install an SSL certificate on the EC2 instance, is there? I’d recommend you change to Full (Strict) and install a certificate on the server.
