Not able to point Domain to a CNAME

I have created a Domain. with csc . CSC has its nserver as Cloudfare .
In Cloudflare domain I have added an entry in the domain with Type CNAME Name @ and Target as destination i.e. Azure FD

But CNAME is not Propagating . Is there some thing I am missing

I can check the A record for my domain being propagated , but CNAME is not

A CNAME record is not a valid record type for the root domain. So an @ record is translated to an A record to comply with the relevant RFCs.
