No routing through Vietnam PoPs (SGN, HAN, DAD) despite years of presence

What is the issue you’re encountering

It has been 7 years since Cloudflare introduced Vietnam PoPs (SGN & HAN), and a third one (DAD) was recently added this year. However, my Cloudflare WARP+ and Spectrum traffic still routes through Hong Kong or Singapore, causing poor latency for users in Vietnam. Even though the PoPs show as operational, no routing seems to be active for these services.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’ve tested from multiple networks across Vietnam and confirmed via traceroute and warp-cli that no traffic goes through the Vietnam PoPs. Spectrum traffic from my server also consistently routes to HKG or SIN.

Making use of Cloudflare Load Balancing with Spectrum would give you the ability to decide how traffic is handled through traffic steering. Please take a look at the different policies available for traffic steering. Thanks!
