Next cloud through Cloudflare tunnel keeps going down

Hello everyone,

I’m not sure what information you need, so I will just put out my issue and go from there.

I can successfully setup Nextcloud through Cloudflare tunnel, but it eventually goes down. It works for an indeterminant amount of time, usually a few hours, then I get the graphical bad gateway host error message.

I check my internal settings and I can’t see that anything has changed. IP’s all look the same. Nothing jumps out at me.

If I delete my Cloudflar host and reset up with a different subdomain, it works again, but only for a few hours. But oddly enough, I have to use a different subdomain. Even if I go into the DNS record and delete the previous subdomain I still can’t use an old one. If I do I just get the generic “this site can’t be reached” webpage.

I don’t mean to conflate two separate issues. My primary concern is, my tunnel keeps going down and I have no idea why, or how to reinitiate it without redoing everything from scratch. I know it isn’t the nextcloud host. I have narrowed it down to something to do with the tunnel.

Thank you for any help on this.

Some information that may be of value here is;

when I view the tunnel in the dashboard, cloudflare tells me it is “healthy” with no indication anything is wrong.
