Newly setup domain not Authoritative after verification

I’ve setup a new domain in Cloudflare animesoft .net

whois shows the Cloudflare name servers for the domain, and the Overview page shows ‘Great news! Cloudflare is now protecting your site’

But when I try to dig against 1.1.1.1, part of the response is

dig animesoft .net @1.1.1.1

; <<>> DiG 9.18.19 <<>> animesoft .net @1.1.1.1
;; global options: +cmd
;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: SERVFAIL, id: 17914
;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 1

;; OPT PSEUDOSECTION:
; EDNS: version: 0, flags:; udp: 1232
; EDE: 20 (Not Authoritative)
; EDE: 22 (No Reachable Authority): (at delegation animesoft .net.)
;; QUESTION SECTION:
;animesoft .net. IN A

and if I try using one of the nameservers for my domain directly

dig animesoft. net @norm. ns. cloudflare. com

; <<>> DiG 9.18.19 <<>> animesoft. net @norm. ns. cloudflare. com
;; global options: +cmd
;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: REFUSED, id: 42984
;; flags: qr rd; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 1
;; WARNING: recursion requested but not available

;; OPT PSEUDOSECTION:
; EDNS: version: 0, flags:; udp: 512
; EDE: 20 (Not Authoritative)
;; QUESTION SECTION:
;animesoft. net. IN A

(To try fixing it, I did try removing and re-adding the domain to Cloudflare)

There’s a current issue affecting DNS for new zones…
