What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have no tech knowledge or background and have been trying to solve this without luck - thank you in advance for your patience and help.

I got a custom domain through iCloud+ that I intended to use for email. The account stopped receiving messages and then I noticed it had expired. I don’t remember linking it to Cloudflare but must have at some point. Since renewing on 10/21, my dashboard has said ‘pending nameserver changes’. The nameservers listed on ICANN are still incorrect.

If I had DNS records previously, they disappeared. I have input (I think correctly?) the CNAME, MX, TXT records but not the A or AAAA. I only need the email component of this domain to be functional to log back into the accounts it’s linked to.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if I can better clarify the issue.

Thank you for response - do these screenshots help at all? I received emails using the domain for the previous year until it expired on 9/11.

You have a spelling error here, which is probably why @GeorgeAppiah did not find it.

When you logged in to renew your domain, did you use Cloudflare credentials or your Apple ID to login? If your CF account was created by an Apple ID, you might need to login using that same ID again.

Could you try that and check if you also see the Pending Nameserver Update message that way?

I log in using my Apple ID. As of this morning, my dashboard still says ‘pending nameserver changes’.

I have not created a Cloudflare account using an Apple ID myself, so I’m not familiar with the process, but there are people having troubles with these accounts from time to time here on the forum.

Could you just try logging in to Cloudflare directly, not with an AppleID but with normal Cloudflare credentials? Maybe also try the “For your email?” option and see if you get a response.

If you can’t find a different account, support will probably have to take a closer look at what happened.
