New sub domain not working because of SSL handshake failed

What is the name of the domain?

https://adx1.pro-cs-is.com/

What is the error number?

525

What is the error message?

SSL handshake failed Error code 525

What is the issue you’re encountering

SSL handshake failed Error code 525

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. Added DNS Settings for the New Subdomain:

    • I added the DNS settings for the new subdomain (adx1.pro-cs-is.com) in the DNS management section of Cloudflare. I used either an A Record with the appropriate IP address or a CNAME Record pointing to another domain. I also made sure the record is enabled by setting the cloud icon to orange.
  2. Enabled Universal SSL:

    • I navigated to the SSL/TLS > Edge Certificates section and ensured that the Universal SSL option is enabled. I waited for several hours for Cloudflare to issue an SSL certificate for the new subdomain.
  3. Checked the Certificates List:

    • I reviewed the list of certificates in the Edge Certificates section to see if the subdomain (adx1.pro-cs-is.com) was listed, but it did not appear.
  4. Changed SSL/TLS Settings:

    • I attempted to use the Flexible SSL option in the SSL/TLS > Overview section to allow HTTPS connections even if the server does not support HTTPS, but the issue persists.
  5. Cleared Cache (Purge Everything):

    • Since I recently made changes to the DNS and SSL settings, I used the Purge Everything option in Cloudflare to clear the cache and force a refresh of the blog with the new changes, but the issue still remains.

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

Yes

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Full

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I deleted the DNS records and all related settings, then reconfigured them from scratch. However, the same issue still persists.

My subdomain is hosted on Blogger, so there is no custom hosting or control panel like Apache or Nginx involved. I rely on Blogger’s default settings for linking the domain with HTTPS. Therefore, most of the mentioned troubleshooting steps, such as manually configuring SSL or checking firewall settings, are not applicable. I’ve attached an image showing the Blogger HTTPS settings

Set the subdomain to DNS Only (:grey:) in your Cloudflare DNS – and WAIT for some 5-10 minutes – for Google to confirm the subdomain and issue a certificate for it.
