Hi,
I’m fairly certain I’ve followed the provided instructions to add a site to my new Cloudflare account. As shown at DNS Propagation Checker - Global DNS Testing Tool and DNS Lookup - Check All DNS Records for Any Domain, the rest of the world sees that Cloudflare is managing the site DNS however the “Cloudflare protection for your domain is in a pending state while we verify ownership. This could take up to 24 hours to complete. Learn more about pending domains.” banner does not go away and because of it I can’t proceed with finishing the site setup.
I first setup this site inside Cloudflare I think 5-6 days ago, and after several days of checking back I deleted and recreated the site yesterday however there still has been no movement. Any ideas? Seems like I must be missing something silly?

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
Not sure how to reproduce per se; I’ve followed the Cloudflare instructions as described at Add a site · Cloudflare Fundamentals docs and in other locations on the Cloudflare site. Unclear what I could have missed; I added the site, updated my DNS NS records to point to the designated Cloudflare DNS servers, and waited the requisite 24 hours.
