I registered a new domain through cloudflare only and it shows active, but when I hit the domain with http or https, I see This site can’t be reached. What’s wrong and what are the steps I need to follow to host a website
I have the same problem. I keep changing the name server settings to my hosting company’s name servers, but Cloudflare refuses to make the change, and they provide no support. I can’t find out what I’m doing wrong.
While Cloudflare does offer some very limited hosting (called Pages), it is a product targeted at professionals and does not offer any type of website creation tool.
So you will need to create a website with some other hosting company first and then create the neccessary DNS records here in Cloudflare. The hosting company will probably have a tutorial for adding a custom domain.
