Need to convert DNS from partner hosted zone

One of the domains on my free plan is categorised as being arranged, with regard to Cloudflare DNS, as having a Partner Hosted Zone. The DNS Zone file is hosted by my server hosting company, which is a Cloudflare partner. I’m still using my domain registrar’s name servers.

In order to add a subdomain to my Cloudflare plan, I believe that I need to convert to Authoritative DNS on Cloudflare. However, the blue button to action this (see screen grab) doesn’t do anything, so I’m stuck.

Any assistance very gratefully anticipated! (The hosting company has run out of ideas)

Remove the domain and add it again. There is no convert from partner option.

OK, I was wondering that might be the only solution.
