Need help with website domain redirection

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of changing my website domain from oldomain.com to newdomain.com. As part of this change, I would like to create a redirection so that any requests made to the old domain will be automatically redirected to the new domain.

From what I understand, the redirection should replace the old domain with the new domain in any request. For example, if someone tries to access https://www.oldomain.com/this, they should be automatically redirected to https://www.newdomain.com/this or if they access OlDomain.com is for sale | HugeDomains they are redirected to http://newomain.com/this

I have tried creating a rule with newdomain.com/ to www.newomain.com/$2 but it did not work (anything was happening)

I am not sure how to set up this redirection, and would appreciate any help or guidance on how to do this. I am using WordPress for my website, if that helps.

Thank you in advance for your help!
