Need help to add a rate limit rule to your /events/ URL.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I need help. I thought I could submit a ticket to support, but I can’t even figure that out/doesn’t seem accessible with our level of membership.

I work for a very small nonprofit and our website is experiencing high bot traffic to our login page. Our login page needs to be public because that’s how our community members login and post their events.

Can a kind soul please like explain it to me like I know nothing about what this means (because that’s true), on how to add a rate limit rule to your /events/ URL (this is what was advised to me via Flywheel support)?

May I ask if you’re on a free plan?

Since your login page is public and https://artandfeminism.org/login/ and since you’re running WordPress, I’d suggest adding Cloudflare Turnstile plugin and creating your Turnstile Widget to protect the login form from bots and spammers - it’s much lighter and better than reCaptcha.

You’re also using some cache at the origin as far as I can see, make sure you’ve got Page cache (HTML) if a lot of traffic is coming to your Website

First - THANK YOU! I have many follow-up questions.

Yes, we have a free account and the next step up I see is "business’ which is not currently possible with our budget. we got here from flywheel support to help mitigate the bot issue we’re having.

Can you speak a little more of how to get to the rate limit setting page?
