When trying to setup my Shift4 shop to point to my listed domain, it gives the 1000 error, and I can’t figure out which part is causing it.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I’m trying to help my dad with this. So far, we have followed the steps that are outlined on the Shift4 website’s guide, and we have even try to use a few different guides from third parties. None of them have solved it because they say to do the same things.

Trying to use the domain to go to the website will always result in the same error.
This is what it shows me on his website under the settings. When I go to the domain settings to select manage DNS it comes up with a box stating that the tool doesn’t work for shared domains, and the page behind it doesn’t show any records. There is an option to add new records to it. I’ll include the relevant screenshots with this. It should be two parts so you’ll have to give me a second to send both.
Can you try to remove the domain from the store and add it again? If not, you’ll need to contact their support and ask why it’s not working. Your Cloudflare settings seem to be as they describe it in their guide.
