Need help getting mod_remoteip running on Lightsail Bitnami Wordpress

I’m trying to get mod_remoteip running on my Amazon Lightsail Bitnami Wordpress instance. However, the instructions here:

do not discuss the unique directory structure and file locations of Bitnami Wordpress instances.

One thing I can add is that to get it running is very easy. You just uncomment

LoadModule remoteip_module modules/mod_remoteip.so

in /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/httpd.conf and then restart Apache with:

sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache

However, the Cloudflare instructions linked to above mention changing the LogFormat and adding trusted remote IP addresses, and I’m not sure where to do it. I don’t see anywhere where the LogFormat is defined. I suspect the remote IP addresses could be added to the VirtualHost sections in /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami.conf but I’m not sure how to do it.

Thank you for your help.
