Nameservers updated but Cloudflare still shows them as not

Works fine, but does not use Cloudflare

Describe the issue you are having:
I’ve changed my nameservers to Cloudflare in Route53. When I check the DNS records through DNS Checker they show as pointing to Cloudflare.

The Cloudflare dashboard still says pending nameserver update and when I go to the site and check the certificate, it still shows Let’s Encrypt.

Any ideas?

WHOIS.com says they’re not pointing to Cloudflare:

If you mean NS records, then that’s not going to work. It has to be the WHOIS information for your domain(s).
